I am a hypocrite.. I admit it. I don’t necessarily feel like my “likes” on fb defines my business. However, being in a new place, I would like to see some new faces too! Word of Mouth has been my biggest, amazing advertisement. I am so thankful when people do refer me. It makes me feel all warm and gushy inside knowing the love of my chosen career makes people happy and they love and appreciate custom portraiture as much as I do. In a business where most prosumer cameras’ price points are pretty reasonable and having a photography “business” is easy as addding “photography” to your name, it’s a challenge to set yourself apart. Thankfully I have a client base that truly can, at a glance, know the difference. I HEART all of you that do.. THANK YOU!!!!
I only do one giveaway a year, if any. So, be sure to tell all your friends. Here are the rules:
All comments must be made here, on my blog, under this post.
If you are already a fan of my page.. leave a comment telling me so.
If you haven’t “liked” my page run over and click the “like” button and leave a comment telling me you did.
Did you refer someone new who wasn’t already a fan? Leave another Comment telling me the name. (they must have “liked” me…I will check) Dislike being FB police, but fair is fair
The drawing will take place from Random.Org and all entrants will be put into the drawing in the order of their commment. Drawing will take place when I reach that “magic” number.

It may be freezing outside and a huge winter storm coming this way, but that doesn’t stop this cutie from thinking about warmer temps. We recently shopped to get ready for spring and vacation. She would live in her swim suit if I allowed it. I am sure she isn’t much different from most kiddos her age, regular attire is not as much fun as pretending the sun is shining and a few blankets on the floor is a nice sandy beach. Along with her rain gear, she couldn’t be more ready for the snow to go, I couldn’t be more ready myself.
Storyboards have been my most popular product starting with my very first session. They make amazing gifts no matter what the occasion and come in many styles and sizes, all custom made for each individual client. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect product for a 1st Birthday Cake Smash session. They tell the story of the session like no other, from beginning to end. Each storyboard comes mounted and sprayed for extra protection. You can choose to frame or simply display on an easel for a modern, clean look. I do have a 1st Birthday Session special, combining formal portraits with a cake smash towards the end. Click here for more information.
I am a true Etsy lover. I very much enjoy customizing all my sessions for my littlest clients and Etsy is the best place I have found to collect beautiful, well crafted items. From tutus, headbands, hats and just about anything else you can think of, Etsy is the place to go. I buy a lot of dresses for my own girls there too. I like the uniquity of what I find and always know it’s a quality item made from love. One of my favorite shops is Maya J Accessories. Her items are not only affordable, but so amazingly gorgeous! They wear well, not too mention photograph well. So, from time to time I am going to share some of my favorite places to shop from my own home.
Because I don’t like doing a post without a picture..here is a little beauty sporting one of Maya J’s gorgeous headbands!
I loved the idea of this session the moment I was asked about doing it. A Christmas surprise for Lance Hall of Hall’s Market in Hardwick, Vermont. Once one of the area’s most popular DJs and very much a huge fan of the Group KISS. His wife had the awesome girls from the Clip Joint in Hardwick take care of the makeup part and then the fun started. The kids were really into this session and did such a good job at not telling their dad. I saw images of him opening his portraits on Christmas morning and it was priceless. I was so proud and honored to have helped in that kind of reaction. Thanks Hall family!
I was so priviledged to photograph beautiful little Miss J again. We first got introduced to her during this session last year. I couldn’t believe the transformation. She is definitely her Mom and Dad’s whole world and oh so sweet. We had a lot of fun! Thanks ‘G’ family…it was awesome to see you all again!!!!
Yesterday may have been the first day of Spring, but mother nature is giving winter another shot today. Perfect day to stay inside and capture some gorgeous images of this beautiful baby girl. I have the most patient Mom and Dads and realizing it does take time because we are definitely on the baby’s terms with these sessions. Here is a small peek at our session today, your gallery will be up in a few days. Thanks again for visiting me sweet baby girl!
